I've seen these for my other texts and am finding them very useful, so thought I would make one for wife of bath!
Discussion topics:
Is the wife a feminist?
Is the wife good or evil?
Does Chaucer mock or endorse misogynistic attitudes?
What do you think Chaucer says about religion?

To start off, I don't see the wife of bath as a feminist but I do think Chaucer manages to portray some feminist attitudes and think Chaucer is critiquing misogyny - mainly within the clergy. Any thoughts?
Also through what perspective do you usually read the wife of bath?
