Depends on the school, but unlikely as they normally require a B. Ask them.
A levels are a significant step up. They might offer BTEC.

Our school requires B(6+) as baseline/standard, A(7) to take Maths, and A*(8,9) to take F.Maths.

You'd need to make your case to the A-Level teachers / Head of 6th Form.

You can do A Levels but it depends on the school. It also depends what tier you did for the CORE subjects (if you’re taking them that is).
The majority of my GCSE’s are C but I chose the majority of my A Levels that I had higher grades in. Except one. Just as Mr Aitch said talk to the Head of Sixth form and see what their requirements are specifically for that school. Or try other sixth forms.

There are other courses than A Levels but that of course depends what you want to do in the future.
