T-testing?

So I’m doing a lab report on an experiment running an LDH assay on different tissue samples and we have to run the relevant statistics test to test our data. The aim is to show the clinical importance of LDH and why it isn’t normally used as a diagnostic marker. I don’t really understand exactly what I should be testing and what would my null hypothesis be ? And why? I think I do but I’m doubting myself because my mind is fuddled

I would use for the null hypothesis something like "there is no difference between the LDH values in the different tissue samples"

I assume you know something about the reason for using the assay e.g.

Yeah I was thinking something along those lines and yeah I know about the assay. It’s just that I had a friend yesterday that has me doubting myself in everything
