It's hard to say how difficult it will be, because that depends on the person. But the OU is designed for people with not much previous education, so they ease you in slowly and it shouldn't be too difficult, at least in Level 1 modules.

I recomend you read the OU website and all the information on the modules you've enrolled in. It's really important to understand all the major aspects before you start!

Hello,

I studied Investigating Psychology last year. There are no exams, just TMA’s, ICMA’s and an EMA. All count towards your final score in some way.

Fwd is right. It’s a very gradual introduction to higher education with lots of information on valuable skills, like essay writing. I myself had no experience in psychology prior to the module you are about to study and I passed with a distinction - if I can do it anyone can ☺️.

Best of luck and if you have any further questions give me a shout.

Ben

Just in DE100 investigating psychology module there are no exams. There will be exams in future years. Is it DE100 you are enrolled on?

Haven’t studied investigating the social world. Have you read the module descriptions? They will tell you all about the module and what type of assessments there are.
