i have very bad gcse result i got one U In gcse french(beacuse i was doing the higher paper and i didn't get over 3 ) can i still go university if i have the good result in my sixform

by the way i am not looking for some top university( Oxford ) i only looking for some UK top 30 university
please help me i am very worried about this

Unless the rest of your GCSE’s are poor, of if French is essential for what you want to study, then yes, it’s entirely possible for you to get admitted to a decent Uni with one duff grade. Don’t worry about it and concentrate on your A-Levels.

i got 4 in maths(i am gonna retake beacuse this result i am not happy) two 4 in science A star in Chinese and i am gonna retake my English as well. rest of it just 3s and one U
