Save your money people, so you can buy real meat as opposed to the bugs, spiders, crickets and mealworms we'll be eating in the future.

Eh, never cared too much for beef anyways.

As long as they leave my chicken and fish alone, I'm good.

This is just kicking the can down the road. We could all eat the bare minimum calories to survive from grass if we took some enzyme supplements or something, and then we could have loads more people on Earth, but that sucks.

We need to have fewer people.

No, we don't need a larger (or even equal size) younger generation to support old people, we have robots that can do the work. The trick is to direct the profits of the robots towards the people they replace, not to the already rich who bought the patents to the robots. I mean, that is the goal with robots, isn't it? To have everyone not wanting for anything while robots look after us, with people being educated to a level they can advance society further that way.

How do you propose this?

Read the next paragraph. It wouldn't hurt to also get rid of the religions that encourage oversized families either.

That doesn't explain how we reduce the population. Which religions do that?

Why not do both? The meat industry is one of the biggest contributors to climate change.

If people have less than 2 kids, time will reduce our population.

Can you think of no religions whose families tend to have a lot of children?

Again, that doesn't say how. How will you make people have less than 2 kids?

You said religion promotes it. Families having lots of kids doesn't link.

That's for politicians to come up with, rather than kicking the can down the road for the next government to deal with. Some ideas include financial benefits for those who only have 1 (or none) and a fine for exceeding 2 payable in tax after the children hit 18 (so as to not infringe on the child's upbringing).

Two that spring to mind are Catholicism and Islam. That really shouldn't be news to you.

Possibly, but population issues are a much greater problem as they are linked to the cause of evert pollution factor.

I would think birth control need to be more actively encouraged.
