extremists like Nazis and Communists gain popularity
Hitler wins election in 1932 but Hindenurg refuses him the chancellorship
Hitler does worse in next election in 1932 but still wins
in early 1933, Hindenburg offers Hitler the chancellorship in coalition and with few cabinet ministers in the hope that he will gain popularity and prevent Hitler doing bad stuff
Hitler passes bills through Weimar that essentially give him dictatorial powers
Hitler threatens to rearm unless others disarm
Hitler rearms
Hitler tries to do anschluss but is blocked by Mussolini
Hitler moves troops onto Rhineland (with orders to retreat if resistance occurs)
agreement between Britain and Germany that allows Germany's navy to reach 35% of British
German military spending increases alot
Germany and Italy sign anti-communist pact, Japan later joins.
Hitler does Anschluss successfully (99.75% of Austrians support it when forced)
Hitler invades Sudetenland
Hitler invades the rest of czechoslovakia
