You can but they’re only free with the nhs if you’re under 16 so you’ll have to pay

I'm afraid that you will have to pay for braces, as I did earlier this year (I'm also 19). It is such an unfair system, particularly as I needed the braces due to my wisdom teeth creating overcrowding in my mouth (which typically develop once you're an adult!). PM if you would like more advice.

It depends on the payment plans offered by the orthodontist that you select, but braces can cost from £2500 to £3500, or even more as I have seen in some places.
