Is OCR Chemistry A and B content the same just with different contexts

I'm doing Salters but would prefer to revise the ideas seperately rather than the storyline chapters. If I revise from OCR A materials and practice OCR B exam questions will I cover all of the knowledge I need to have?

Yes., you will. The standards are maintained throughout all A-level courses. What's wrong with he storylines, by the way?

A and B have really quite different content. Many topics are common, but A does things that B doesn't and vice versa. It certainly won't hurt to go over some things you won't need to know, but how much spare time do you have to be doing 'unnecessary' things? If you just want to learn chemistry in your own order, why not just plough through www.chemguide.co.uk ?
