Welcome to the new LSE accommodation thread!

The old accommodation thread had been going since 2009, and was very long and a little bit out of date.

I thought it might be easier to give advice about halls and discuss which halls might be right for you on a new thread.

First off, this is the website where you can check out all the different options, and look at the 360^ tours of the accommodation.

http://www.lse.ac.uk/student-life/ac...taavailability

The main choices you have to make are:
  • LSE vs. intercollegiate

Some halls are exclusively for LSE students; others are intercollegiate halls that belong to the University of London.

  • Single room vs. shared room

  • Ensuite vs. non-ensuite

  • Catered vs. non-catered

  • 30 week contract vs. 38-40 week contract
