Christmas films aren't shown on TV in the UAE as much as they are in the UK. But I hope to catch Elf and the Home Alone films.

In the cinema, it's gonne be Aquaman, Bumblebee and some Hindi films for me.

None. I was talking to someone from work and found out she was into all that superhero stuff, so I thought I'd ask her about the movies. Naturally, she spoke pretty highly of some of them. Originally I asked her about the DCEU, but she also dropped Marvel into it as well. Since I got through the DCEU on the weekend, except for Aquaman, still need to see that one, (great movies if you ask me, though Suicide Squad was a bit sh*t) the next week or two are going to be one lengthy Marvel binge.

Yeah... I've never been one for Christmas films really. A lot of them are pretty boring. Even the better ones like Home Alone and Gremlins drag on a bit. They're good movies, but that's about it. Just good. They're nothing spectacular, not something I'd actively go out and seek to re-watch.

Oh I thought you were hoping to watch these on TV.

BBC usually have movie marathons around Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year IIRC. They definitely show all the Pixar movies and lots of other children's films. Haven't spent Christmas in the UK for a few years though.
