Does anyone know any good stem, preferably chemical engineering work experience in London?

Have you tried contacting local companies to see if they can offer anything? Where about in London are you? There are a lot of oil & gas and petrochemical engineering companies in central London and to the south and west in places like Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire etc.

You could try summer schools or taster courses. But if you're not economically disadvantaged you'll probably be at a... disadvantage when applying.

If you go to a website called industrial cadaets, there are a list of companies that offer STEM work experience
