What are the stereotypes associated with those that get a first?

They turn up to classes and do the work

They're smarter than people getting 2:1s or lower

They probably spend extra time on their degree outside classes and take a natural interest in the subject

They don't feel the need to make threads bashing people with other degree classifications

They are always the first ones in class

They always sit at the front of the class

They get 70+ on every assignment.

Erm, no. Why would i be lol

They’re just not special

Who cares what grade you get. You got a first? Big deal. So did 26% of other students

Sounds like you must be the 2:2 student if this level of sophistication is too high

An employer?

But I didn't realise being in the top 25% of something meant absolutely nothing. I don't see why we're trying to belittle the effort a student puts in to do better than everyone else. Graduating with the top grade is still something to be proud of

Certainly seems like they only came here to throw random negatie stereotypes about top students. I thought making fun of the smart students stopped in secondary school but apparently I was wrong.
