i wrote about how because Gregory lived in an area where the ancestore of the king (Forgot his name) ruled it would be more useful then someone who didnt live there becasue he may have experienced their tendencies and behaviour but on the other hand how he may have exaggerrated or spread false information in order to portray them in a bad light because he may have been mistreated.I also talked wrote about how he wrote it 90 years later so information may be innacurate (obviously expanded on that). How about you?
Disadvanages-
The author is from a region that is ruled by the successors of King Clovis. Thus it would be fair to assume that he would not have written Clovis' flaws to protect his reputation and not to anger the successors. Thus it may be historically inaccurate.

Advantages-
The fact that he would be 'covering up' for Clovis tells us a lot about the period. Why and how would he be doing so. Metahistorians would acess the advantages and disadvantages of doing so, and the pros and cons of doing something similar in the future. And, since there are limited sources from the time, we need to use what we have got, no matter how biased, to our advantage.

Yh I wrote that it runs in his family he cant help it and that if he had been understood before he could have been helped etc

for that hat question I wrote that’s he was saying that no one is responsible for their actions and stuff like that

wat did u write in the last question
In the last question, I structured it like I would a normal rs essay and stated some scholars ... and other philosophers ... but I talked about like the cosmos and the cosmological argument to defend the belief and faith in God's existence and against I talked about the problem of evil and used some of the quotes they gave us.

How did the find the biology and philosophy papers go
I found the Philosophy paper surprisingly easy (famous last words...). I argued that no one is fully responsible for their actions given the amount of external/genetic factors, however that some people are able to maintain more responsiblity and in courts this is determined through mitigating and aggravating factors. For the theology I said there wasn't enough tangible evidence and quoted hume, then i was like they must clearly believe or why would they waste their one life dedicated to it (but then i brought in fear and cultral elements), then i said it was irrational but that could be a reason to believe and brought in the story of job and the parable of the good shepard. I feel like my chain of reasoning wasn't all that logical but hey ho.

I didn't revise as I was under the assumption that they wanted to see our capabilities instead of what we actually know... however I'm unsure if I performed well enough ... I took English and Biology and both were alright, but I'm not sure ....it can go either way.... I think I over analyzed the poem for English and didn't coherntly express my point of view and I messed up the two 3 markers for biology (especially the last one).
I ended up not revising too much, although a fair bit of poetry just because we're doing it in class anyways. I overanalysed the English, definitely, I said it was about hope and religion, honestly it was a bit of a mess in hindsight but I feel like I at least mentioned enough structure etc and brought in some themes, I think I wasn't meant to mention context but I went in fairly heavily.

heyy, I was just reading these comments and I was wondering how the English exam went? Also, I was a late applicant to Harris Westminster but thankfully they sent me a letter stating that I'll have my exam in May and that it's their final examinations. Do you reckon that we'll have the same questions? My friend said that it's unlikely since obviously some people might've found out the questions but the exam I'm doing could be fairly easier/harder so it could be unfair.
