When putting my personal statement into ucas, it removes my tabbed spaces at the start of each paragraph. However when I use a blank line in between each paragraph I have too many lines. Is there any way around this or must I shorten it to allow for these blank lines.

The only way to have clear paragraph spaces is to include blank lines.

Could I use 4 spaces to tab in at the start of each paragraph instead or must it be blank line?

Ucas will strip out excess spaces. The only way to show proper paragraphs is to leave a blank line between them.
