Can I become a microbiologist at the NHS without a degree in medicine? As when I'm looking around the average salary seems quite high and some places state that the NHS requires medicine and others don't. Is this for different areas of microbiology. If so, will the non-medicine degree job be significantly lower wages?

You don't need a medical degree to become a microbiologist. You need HCPC registration.
