A farmer has sheep cows and pigs in the ratio of 12:3:2. The farmer has 150 more sheep than pigs. How many cows have she got?

So we know that the ratio of sheep to pigs is 12:2
We know that there are 150 more sheep than pigs
if we remove 2 units from both sides (the number of pigs from sheep) we know that 150 sheep = 10 ratio units
