Question re: DUO student finance start date

I am a Dutch dual national and planning on coming to the Netherlands to study my Masters in 2020 and would like to apply for student finance.
I am planning to arrive in the Netherlands May or June 2020, get my burgerservicenummer and apply for student finance straight away and to start my course in September 2020. I am concerned because I turn 30 in late August 2020 and have read I need to be under 30 to apply and first receive for student finance. I will be under 30 when I apply, but I am not sure if I am able to receive the first payment before August 2020 when I turn 30. Is first payment from when you apply for Student finance or does it only start in September?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
