A level options to get into a midwifery course at university

Hi my friend wants to take midwifery (we are doing AS at the moment) and she took Biology, Health and Social and then Psychology. She dropped H&S care for Religious Studies as she found that they 'didn't do much in the lesson at all' and that 'it was common sense'
However from an outsider's point on view I would suggest H&S care as it's more relevant that Sociology/ Religious Studies (in my friends case)
