Not surprised about UU being transport sos or catus being justice sos.

So we have left our defences to the Russians I see

SOS for exiting the EU? Seriously? We are not stimulating negotiations with the EU. What a point less role.

Why is home and pension being merged? Pension should be merged with business.

Why is infrastructure and transport separate. They should be together.

Interesting to see rakas become Chancellor again let's hope he learnt from the last budget.

I hope this Government (and in particular DEFRA and Industrial Strategy ) are just as successful as the Conservative Party continues to be on MHoC.

How could this be even easier than last term?

We might buy some S-400s and aeroplanes to replace that NATO garbage. 🤔

This term will the one with the most finalised action to do with Brexit (probably); a dedicated SoS, I believe, is necessary to comment on and amend policy accordingly.

I placed DWP under Home as it makes the most sense in terms of category - welfare is a domestic issue that I would personally like to tackle.

In respect to transport - with airport expansion, HS2 and Crossrail among other things - I believe that it is such a large independent sector that we must take decisive action over the next term and hence a dedicated position was necessary.

The decision to make DExEU is somewhat baffling but ok.

Best of luck for the coming term

At least I can rely on CatusStarbright to not try and repeal the HRA 1998 or attempt to weaken our dedication to human rights. :fatcontroller:

This Government is committed to the fortification and protection of human rights - we cannot baselessly undermine the safety, security and interests of our citizens; citizens who have done nothing wrong of their own accord.

Very little that is surprising there, to be honest.

To clarify, is the abolition of the Human Rights Act 1998 no longer Conservative policy?

'Secretary of State for Transportation'? Are we planning to move Stateside?

Or send criminals to Australia again?

You might just be able to get one seat next term.
And I suspect you will still struggle to make but a single meaningful contribution to the house, flabby

There will be a review as to ascertain whether each clause works in practice and in reality - there will be no unilateral abolition without replacement.
