Math IA - Bayesian Spam Filtering

I am starting my Math IA now and I'm doing Bayesian Spam Filtering. So I am going to take 100 spam emails and analyze common words/phrases and then take 100 normal emails and calculate the probability of an email being spam.

I am unsure about how exactly to go about with this or how I can structure the IA.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, I was thinking of doing something similar. Your post is from a year ago, so I'm assuming you've finished your IA? Are there any tips you'd like to give? I'm thinking of doing the Bayesian Spam Filtering as well, however I don't know where to start yet.
