TSR is being very quiet about this one. Guy stabs a few people in Manchester? TSR goes mental and decides this is proof that Islam needs to be 'eradicated'. But yet another far-right terror attack? TSR acts as though it never happened.

The man tried to run pedestrians over three times, fled the scene, then made racist comments when he was later stopped and arrested.

4 people were injured in this cowardly attack.

Perhaps because Manchester is here and Germany isn't
I would guess if you go to a predominantly German forum the German loon will garner more posts than the Manchester one.

I saw almost no reaction on tsr as to Manchester, I even made a post saying that it’s gone quiet on these attacks as they are routine.

The message is clear: if you have it in for foreigners you are far-right. There is absolutely nothing about the man's political leanings in all the tendentious reporting made to push that view through. He is as far-right as the Hungarian PM, that's the message blaring out.

For instance, he could be a leftie who had someone close killed in a similar attack by foreigners in Germany and gone mental about it. We don't know that and people looking for unbiased reporting on anything shouldn't go anywhere near rags like the Indy. They radicalize people on line, they do.

Just lol at the state of the reporting of these things in general.

The whole narrative is now about trying to portray Muslims in as positive a light as possible. Following Manchester, the narrative shifted almost immediately to one photo showing a woman in a hijab standing next to one of the victims - and how wonderful she must be for doing so.

Not about the victims.

Not about the BTP officers who fought the knife man (more or less unarmed and one being stabbed in the process).

No, it was immediately about how great Muslims are.

True, and I guess we don't really know for sure that the guy who stabbed people in Manchester who shouted Islamic slogans was actually Muslim? Perhaps he was a Trump supporter.?

That's your logic right there.

Funny that you never hesitate or have any doubt when there are reports of terror by Muslims, immigrants or far left groups, but you always prevaricate, evade and refuse to condemn attacks by the far right.

Because it was NYE and people were out?

It was the leading story on most networks yesterday.

No surprise. Social commentators of the right have warned for a while that if mass immigration, along with the associated violence continues then we'll start to see retaliation attacks from the native community.

It's not something to be condoned but let's not pretend this wasn't triggered by acts made by parts of the refugee population in Germany.

A terror attack in the U.K. is going to get more attention on a U.K. forum than one in Germany.

You should blame the likes of Merkel for creating a climate in which people on multiple fringes are now radicalising to the point where they are literally killing people in the streets.

Exactly. We know nothing of this man's views on economics, foreign policy, environmental issues, prison reform, gun control, taxation, or all the other things that combine to define a person's political orientation. All we know is he rammed his car into a bunch of Muslim foreigners. Apparently that's all it takes to be "Far-Right". They could have gone with "Xenophobe" or even "Islamophobe", but no, they need to implicate and besmirch the political Right again...

Indeed, and then there is also this small matter: when a white person targets non-whites we invariably have the 'racist' banner hoisted by that media thing. Sits very well next to the 'far-right' board, makes it even easier.

When a non-white bloke targets a group of whites... nothing of the sort, we just don't hear it at all. Could it possibly be part of an agenda where racism is to be presented as a white thing only? Not particularly bothered about it but if there is one thing I dislike about 'the opposition' is the lack of consistency in their arguments, which is quite common. Too common, actually.

ISIS scum target a Xmas do somewhere? Surely that is as racist as whatever this character shouted that makes him one.
