Midwifery interview at Hull

HiI have an interview at Hull uni next week for the midwifery degree. I know this is a really hard course to get a place on and wondered if any current students have any advice on the kind of questions asked? The interview part is going to be 6 mini interviews with 6 different people Thanks

Hi, I didn't apply to Hull but im a current 3rd year midwifery student maybe I could help abit. Questions you may be asked is: why you want to be a midwife, midwifery isn't about the baby, "you are with woman" so focus on that to help with your reasoning. Link to current affairs in the media pertaining to maternal health, disparities,( black and Asian maternal health the disparities in those groups, reading reports MBRRACE report, Ockaden report referencing these will help with creating a picture that you are led by evidence based information. That maps a huge piece of the midwifery course.
