RSPCA and Injured Strays
My girlfriend and I recently found a cat that was clearly near death. We took him to the vets after logging the details with the RSPCA. My girlfriend received a call from the RSPCA a few hours after to ask where it was found so they could put up a poster and told her that the cat was now at one of their clinics.
My girlfriend was deeply distressed as she's worried the cat is suffering as it was clearly near death. I was wondering whether anyone knew how long the RSPCA keep strays before they put them to sleep and if you think they probably have already with this cat but are just trying to find the owners?
I've heard mixed opinions on the RSPCA elsewhere!
