Finding this area of physics very hard and was just wondering if anyone knew of any methods to help me understand it more

It would be better if you can describe what kind of problems are you facing and like what is that you find it confusing.

Some people find that electricity is just applying the formula to solve the problems, so they tend to ignore some of the conceptual understanding by just memorizing the definitions or standard answers.

There are some abstract concepts in electricity that can be confusing and it can take some time for them to "click".

Mainly just finding the concepts quite confusing such as oscilloscopes

As I say before, it is would be good that you describe what confuses you. For example, we know that it is the electrons that constitute the currents in metallic conductor or wire why the direction of current is opposite to the direction of the net flow of the electrons.

It is best that you talked aloud your confusion, so that we can help you link the concepts together.
