Has anyone ever done the Open University psychology course?

Has anyone ever done the Open University psychology course? If so what did you do afterwards? Did you struggle because it was viewed as less?
I've known three people do the OU Psychology course, small sample but seems to be no difference in terms of jobs/future study prospects to red brick uni around here (know lots and lots) and ex-poly (know quite a lot). The thing about the OU

You could always look on https://unistats.ac.uk/ based on a massive graduate dataset called LEO. Scary, scary reading though.

If you do some study at the OU it's like some other unis, some will be impressed by it (a lot of self study) and others not.
Just a potentially useful piece of advice.

The cut of dates for registration are rigid and different to other unis.

10th Jan is the deadline for feb start. There will be opportunities to start level 1 modules in April and probably Sep/Oct. The OU used to run most of its courses feb to oct and it has been transitioning to the proper academic year. Level one modules tend to be available for feb and oct and if you are lucky april and july starts.

Also pay attention to fee rules and registration rules. These used to be very generous and you could get full or large partial refund. In 2018 the rules changed again to be less generous.

If you want to chat to some OU students I would go on facebook.

Generally people spend months/years thinking about OU courses and not doing them.
