Seems like you know exactly where you went wrong so that's a good start! Have you applied to uni?

Yeah I’ve applied to med school at King’s, Bristol, Sheffield and Southampton, and I have an offer from King’s for Biomed science (AAB)

    1. HOW MUCH REVISION: Personally, I started from week 1, but only a little at first, around 1-2 hours per week. I then gradually increased the amount per week as the year progressed, doing about 3-5 hours per day by May.
    Week 1 in year 12 or 13?

    How do you become/stay motivated?
I talked a little bit about this in the post. Gradually increasing my workload throughout the year allows me to not burn out so I can keep going. The other best way for me to stay motivated is to actually enjoy it (to some extent anyway). I like watching revision videos as they make learning more engaging, but it depends what subjects you do as you won't find them for every one.

How did you balance your revision between 3 subjects? For me my 3 subjects have 2 sections.. i don;t know how to revise them daily.. im not a timetable person
I don't really balance them equally, I spend more time on the subjects I'm particuarly stuggling with at any given time. I focus on the topics I don't like first, and then do the more bearable ones later as I'm most motivated early o.

Hey, how did you not get distracted when taking breaks?
Well it doesn’t really matter about getting distracted when talking breaks, that’s what they are for. I make sure I don’t get into anything too time consuming (such as watching a movie) so I can continue when I need to.

These are such great tips! I am in Year 13 so I take my exams this year, and I love the website Quizlet for making flashcards! You can make your own and use sets that other people have made, and it gives you the option to use them in different ways, for example play games (for when you aren't so motivated) or answer using either the definition or the term etc. What I love most about it is the practicality of not having to carry around a huge amount of flashcards; you can also get an app on your phone which makes it so much easier to revise on the go! I have just been on holiday and I just downloaded my flashcards and did them on my flight
I didn’t know about this when I was studying, glad you posted about it so it can help others
