basically used a HARD toothbrush on my face as my facial brush broke, now my face is red, sore and very very hot. any recommendations on how to soothe(??) it. also could i have removed the top layer of my skin or am i being stupid?? pls help x

You’ll be fine love, don’t worry. Maybe use some vasaline or sudocrem if it’s really painful x

Put a cloth with cold water or ice on your face to cool it down and make it less red and sore. Then apply some moisturiser (would be good if it had Aloe Vera in it). Should feel a bit better after that.

I also find that the Aveeno daily moisturising lotion works really well

i tried sudocream but it burned worse, might try vasaline once it’s settled again ... thankyou x

I would recommend rubbing ice on ur face ideally wrapped in a cloth or if it's really bad u could try directly or go see a doctor if it's still really bad after ice!

Cotton cloth with ice will soothe it
Dw I did the toothpaste and baking soda thing on my nose and it was burning like a *****

They should be good since they have aloe Vera in them but if it gets sore when you apply quickly wash it off with cold water Incase it irritates your skin even more x

creams might make it stick but a clean cloth with ice won’t
Or just use ice /cold water 😂😂
