I have exams coming up and when revising the role of condensation and hydrolysis reactions in the bond-making and bond-breaking of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids in chemical digestion and assimilation and also the roles of hydrochloric acid, bile and mucus in the digestive system and how each of these affects enzyme-controlled digestion, I get really confused. Anyone could tell me these things in a way I could probably understand?
