Race of ChampionsWatch
Race of Champions or ROC for short is an annual Motorsport event. Often held in stadiums where champions compete against one another in the same cars.
There are two titles to go after at ROC, the nations cup and the champion of champions.
How do these two work?
With the nations cup 2 drivers from the same country team up together (ie Team Germany) and take on the 2 drivers from another country in a minimum of 2 races (Team Sweden). For example Germany A V Sweden A then Germany B V Sweden B. If the score is 1-1 after these two races then the two winning drivers race in a tiebreak. The event is run in a knockout format like tennis.
Champion of champions is all about the drivers. Recently there has been a round Robin followed by a knockout. The knockouts comprise of 1 race. The final however is a best of 3.
