Should I quit?

Hi, I'm a Games Development Student. I failed my 2nd year due to lack of motivation and some laziness to try and fix it. Maybe it's depression. I thought I was just having a bad time of it but I'm now falling into the same pit of thoughts. I think I Game Development was the wrong choice, that it was more hobby than career path. Everytime I try and do work I end up procrastinating into doing some other thing, such as my other hobby of composing music digitally or playing games.
I'm pretty much the same...
I recommend doing something u really enjoy. Have you ever considered Music as if u seem to enjoy it better n u might do a lot better at it.
If you don't have the passion or drive for Games Development, you might struggle to do well, finding yourself really bored at times and you probs wont even be bothered.
Since you think it's more of hobby maybe u don't like the idea of your hobby turning into work.
You should definitely do something in which u have much more of a passion and drive to do well in.
