I got 95% for my AS level Maths, results released today.

I am wondering if I would qualify for top in world award.

If so, how does one know?

Contact your school

How did you know your %?

Top in world awards are very hard to get

I think it's unlikely. There most probably are people with full % or higher %

But your % is very good

I think Top in [Country] awards is only for your country, not any country

You have to wait for the list to be published or ask your school

I'm sorry to disappoint you but for quantitative subjects like maths, you almost always need 100%.

I got 98% when I did mine in June. I didn't get any Top in the World or Top in the Country or anything. Also, does everyone in your country take their A Levels in November? Because CIE only gives out awards for the main exam series in each country (which is usually May/June).

If you look at the last Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards in Malaysia, it seems that all of the awardees took their exams in the June session, because there are more people taking exams during that session.

Back in 2013, I got 100% at AS, and finished with 98% at A2. I never received anything.
