I recently graduated with a 2.1 in Psychology. This degree made me realize my enthusiasm for biology and I'm now considering completing a PGCE and becoming a secondary biology teacher.
However, I didn't take a biology A level and my degree isn't in biology. The modules of my degree were heavily biology based but obviously still linked to Psychology i.e. Evolutionary psychology and the neurobiology of emotions.
I'd be happy to take a subject knowledge enhancement course if it would lead to me being accepted. But I'm worried that won't be offered to me due to my lack of an A level in biology.
Do you think I'd have a chance at being accepted for a PGCE?

I would say contact the uni directly as they will he able to give you a clear answer. I don't know much about this but I think it's likely you'll need A level biology, but I don't know for sure. I think you'll be fine with your degree. Good luck
