I'm half way through my first year of GCSEs and we have the option to drop a subject. I'm currently doing biology and chemistry for sciences and I find chemistry quite hard and im thinking of dropping it. Will it affect me in future if I want to do biology a level?

Both A-Level subjects have lots of equations to learn and it would be ideal to do Triple Science at GCSE if you were to take A-Level Sciences, preferably grade 6 at the minimum but grade 8 and 9 for the best success. Double Science is the bare minimum I'd say with a grade 6 minimum in Maths.
Also, a grade 5 or 6 in English would be useful in Biology. Some AQA GCSE questions will say "In this question you will be assessed on using good English, organising information clearly and using specialist terms where appropriate" and there is also a 25 mark essay in the A-Level Paper 3.
