Help needed

Currently doing a pharmacy foundation year ,but want to transfer next year to a different Uni have a couple of questions is it worth applying now or can I/ should I apply in the summer ?
also is it worth mentioning the reasons I want to transfer on my personal statement ?

I havent contacted every university im applying to. Will that be an issue?????
i know for a fact them accepting me will depend on my performance in my foundation this year.
