It totally depends on their application numbers. If they're oversubscribed it might be harder, however Queen Mary is a good uni but not the most selective in the country.

I think you stand a fair chance, given that your prediction is only one grade below, and if the A is in the *core* subject of the degree (ex. Maths in a Maths degree).

Don't be afraid to contact their admissions team directly independent of UCAS and ask them to clarify.

depends on the course and uni, i have friends who missed there offers by two grades and got in!
