does anyone have any tips for revision as to what methods they like and how to use it . Preferably for long term obviously and any general help for as to how to build up a good long term memory .

The best in my opinion to revise and learn in a long term is that you are trying to understand the lessons and contents to it in your own words and that you explain someone what you learnt again and again in your learning period. Request people to ask questions about your lessons that you can reply to. Write questions down to terms or meanings of your learning lessons, if it is really needed.

The best of this method: you get more self-confidence and lose your insecurity step by step and good feeling for exams.
