I want to do a psychology course at University but I couldn’t do it as an A level so what does that mean for the course ? I checked with Brighton Uni my first choice and they said I didn’t need it but idk what to do

nope as long as you fit the requirements (a level wise one choice as science usually) you'll be fine and you can read around the subject anyway

No, as others have said, you’ll be taught the basics. First year is honestly just the foundations of psychology.
