What your parents weight more shouldn't be a factor when choosing uni

Well, I also agree but I can't just totally ignore my parents' opinion though. And repuation also quite matters for me as well If you were me, which uni would u go for?

i wouldnt go on reputation. I would visit and decide which university I prefer based on the course and the feel of the university and city. All of these are reputable universities. It is not as though you are looking at crap ones.

Theyre all equally reputable. its not like someone who goes to leeds will have an edge over someone going warwick, youre not comparing oxbridge to others. If youre okay with all the courses just go to every uni and get a good feel if youd want to be there, trust me you dont want to blindly go to a uni, I did that and my life has been miserable. dont look at the student satisfaction crap you have to feel it yourself.

BTW have you looked at the ITMB course, IMO its alot better than just business management cause it injects the IT element into the degree which would possibly give you an edge over the others doing only a management degree. From the ones youve applied to, Manchester offers it.

Reptutation isn't everything as everyone is saying but in terms of reputation... I would have to put Durham first.

Visit each one and see if you could see yourself living there for 3-4 years. Although course content and reputation is important, feeling comfortable is as well.

Hi lowdemandonme :hello:

Congratulations on receiving offers from your chosen universities!

There are many different factors to consider when making the decision of which university to attend.

I would recommend that you start by comparing the course content. Remember that courses differ at different universities - No two courses are the same. Look beyond the course title at the content of the course. Topics will be different across universities, depending on academic expertise, course accreditation, international partnerships and location.

Other things to consider include:

What student accommodation is available?
What career prospectus does the university have?
Are there any work experience opportunities?
What support does the university offer? (Counselling, writing mentors, employability service etc.)
Are there any part time jobs on campus?
What extracurricular activities are available?
What is the cost of living in each of the cities?
What facilities does the university offer? (Library, gym, laundrette, catering etc.)
University stats

You want to make sure that you make the best decision for yourself and the one that will enable you to focus on your studies, socialise and most importantly... be happy!

I hope this helps.

Good luck with you decision

Amy

Actually, you can. They aren't going to university, you are. They also aren't going to be living your life for you. This is your choice, no one elses.
