So I have chosen maths physics and biology at a level and I want to study dentistry at uni so I i take a gap year and study a level chem then would uni give me a chance or would they not even consider me thanks

Yes. I would also choose the CIE International A level as they have the advantage of November exams and the AS counts towards the A level. This should help with the UCAS application schedule during your gap year. It is available to private candidates.
