Should the driving theory test have a few life lines such as: 50/50 or phone a friend, ask the other candidates in the test room?

I take it you failed your theory?

A good portion of it is common sense anyway, and most of the other stuff you'll pick up on while driving with your instructor. Why would the theory test need lifelines?

All the lifelines ought to be Ask Jezza, and if you opt to use that you get a short voice clip of the man himself yelling "POWAAAH!", and the option indicative of the fastest driving technique will be automatically pre-selected for you.

Maybe, if you had to score perfectly on the MCQ part. But since you can get 7 questions wrong, I think that's more than enough of a lifeline
