I have applied for mechanical engineering at both Bristol, Southampton and Oxford and am stuck between the three.
My questions about Bristol are, do they film/ record any of their lectures? Also do you make most of your mates within lectures or by joining societies, or other?
Any other advice or information would be greatly appreciated x

Bristol record all of the lectures (not tutorials, seminars etc.) and they are availible usually by 2 days after the lecture. I have 3 groups of friends at Bristol- one group I met through a society, a group of course friends (I met them on the first introductory lecture because we got lost together) and the last group are my flat mates. At the start everyone wants to make friends so just chat to whoever is near you in lectures/ if someone in your accomodation does the same course. Most people I know met course friends through lectures or being in the same tutorial group.
