Hi,

I’ve been offered a place at Nottingham Trent for law and I was wondering if it is good. I’ve seen that it has surpassed uni of Nottingham in league tables but do not know if this is just a fluke or if it is becoming a respectable university

Nottingham Trent has not yet surpassed Nottingham Uni in any real sense and they are quite some distance apart in terms of reputation. As you probably know, training contracts are incredibly competitive, so Law is not an easy career to enter. The vast majority of training contracts will go to graduates from the better Unis like Nottingham, where the students enter with all A/B grades at A level.

Notts if far better than NTU. The league tables are very much wrong and to be ignored.
