Hi, I’m doing Edexcel a level psychology. I don’t have a book full of information as my teacher just hands us notes. I’m really struggling on getting the structure down for twelve, sixteen and twenty markers because our teachers don’t give us a concise answer
In my essays what should I include to get the top marks? I see people saying a point then a counter argument but it confuses me a little. I also include issues and debates in my essays, but not methodological issues. For example I know Hofling et al(1966) found 21 out of 22 nurses performed a drug overdose according to a doctors orders but i don’t know the type of experiment
My a grade friend tells me that I should evaluate studies after I suggest them. I do this sometimes but typically evaluate the question rather than the generalisability of the studies for example because it confuses me on how it relates to the question
Any tips in general would be appreciated for an a grade because I know the basics but need to get better at essays . Thanks
