I’ve got a full time job where I’m on a contract, but I’ll only be working for 8 months. The termination of employment goes as follows:
• 1 day’s notice within the first 4 weeks
• 1 week’s notice within the first 12 weeks
• 2 week’s notice thereafter
I don’t really understand what this means. Can someone please confirm?

If they want to terminate you in the first 4 weeks they let you know a day in advance.

If they want to terminate you in the first 12 weeks they let you know a week in advance.

If they want to terminate you anytime beyond 12 weeks they let you know 2 weeks in advance.
