Q.
A current of 2.3 A flows upwards through a vertical wire in the Earth's magnetic field, The value of the horizontal component of the magnetic field of the Earth is BH=1.7×10^−5*T.

Calculate how far from the wire a neutral point is located where magnetic field of the wire and BH cancel each other out.*Take*μ0=4π×10^−7 H/m.

Any advice will be much appreciated

You need to know the equation for B at a distance r from a long straight current-carrying-conductor.
