So I have now been driving for a year, my insurance is up in a month and I am going to buy another car, I aim to have it for a few years, I will be 19 by the time I get a new car, but yeah I am currently looking at getting a Corsa or a Polo, what do you guys suggest?

I work full time, but will have about 4K to spend on the car + insurance, so after the average price of insurance I will have about 2.8K for the car, what one shall I get?

I would go for asian makes like Honda, Toyota or Hyundai. Toyota Yaris is a great car. A 1,5 L 4 banger is adequate for motorway passing and great on milleage too. When you have enough funds, you can go for a Mercedes C63 as you like, for now start humble

Have you looked into estates? Such as Hyundai i20 Estate, Golf Estate or Skoda Fabia? It might be stretching your budget upwards of 5000K. They usually last for years

Would go for the Polo, more classier and better interior.

Not sure what's best though for driving

Not a Vauxhall. As patriotic as I am... it is British engineering at its worst. Sorry...

Vauxhall is just a brand - the cars are not British.

The fundamental design is British... it is a region of London where it was conceived. I admire British engineering but not this one.

Again, nope. All Vauxhall cars are rebranded Opel's these days.. they're actually German.

But then PSA came along and bought Opel from General Motors, so now it's French?

It's all very complicated, but it's definitely not British.

Just don't buy a Vauxhall... the fundamental design is flawed however much they try to disguise it.

I'd go for the Corsa tbh. Polo's are overpriced for what they are. Most of the engines are underpowered as well.
