Hi there,

I am looking to study a BA in modern history at the UEA in Sept 2019. Can anyone advise me of the timetable for such a subject or at least give me a rough idea of the contact time spent in Uni? (How many hours a day / How many days per week etc). I am a mature student and need to know roughly so I can plan part time work around my studies but the Uni won't release this information just yet.
All responses from whichever Uni you are at are welcome.

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

You may have seen these already, but here are some (very detailed!) links on the contact hours and scheduling of seminars for History modules at UEA for 2018-19. They are changing the coding of the scheduling for 2019, but I can't imagine the number of contact hours / formal teaching will change much if at all - should give you an idea. Hope this helps - and good luck with your History studies! My favourite subject.

You're very welcome - FYI, there is a 2018-19 Facebook Group for UEA History if you haven't already spotted it. I took the liberty of posting a link on their wall to this thread, but you may want to swing by and say hi yourself. They may be very useful!
