Do you believe life is becoming too complicated?Watch
-Do you agree with the Q and desire more simplicity in your life, including you feel you (we) need more down time? Or disagree and believe everything is managable and think there is too much time to be idle and think?
-How do you personally prevent things in your daily life from becoming too complicated? (IE do you put a lot into your downtime, minimise certain usage of technology or shut out certain things in life?)
-Do you fear that in future you will feel things will get too complicated and life will very easily get overwhelming? (IE would you think you would reject certain forms of technology in future for sake of simplicity?)
We can see this through the constant increase in difficulties of specifications for academic curriculums. If a 40 year old walked into a maths GCSE exam of today, he/she would likely have no idea what on earth anything means, even if that person is well educated in their upbringing. Yet, Generation Z are expected to have full knowledge of everything on the paper at, or in some cases before, their 16th birthday.
That's just how the world works, and has worked since the very beginning of the human race.
I fear my future will only get more complicated, but perhaps I will be used to it.
Just let me be a mid-1800s cowboy who would die from TB at 29, lmao.
Life is as simple as you make it. Don't get hung up on pointless ****e, do more things you enjoy. Learn to say 'no'.
Agreed, however I think that younger people are taught to get the most complicated/complex of jobs, aim to live in the busy city, keep every modern gadget - to throw themselves right in it all because they are taught that is the only way of living. Along with being taught to think, think, think and barely 'do'
