I’m definitely doing history and politics but I’m between biology and English for my 3rd. I prefer biology to English but I know that English will go better with my other two and help me more when I want to do politics or law at university. I don’t hate English but I definitely prefer biology. Any advice?

Then by all means do Biology! Politics and law at university have no specific A-level subject prerequisites, apart from the fact that essay subjects are advantageous.

Since History and Government & Politics are both essay subjects, you've got that base well covered. There's even some extended writing in Biology A-level, and it is a good subject to study.

Only feel that you must study English Lit if you want to do it at uni. Otherwise, Biology all the way.

Biology. I loved the course. Plus there are essay style questions. I dont know about now but when I did my A2 exam in 2015 we had to write an essay in the exam. We were given the choice between 2 topics and had to write an essay including content from all moules studied, e.g. Examples of cycles in biology, 25 marks.
